Context

Retail training content must communicate product knowledge, brand values and customer-facing practices with clarity and consistency. For a global watch brand, localized learning materials also need to preserve established terminology and remain practical for local retail teams.

Thomas’s role

As Training Assistant Manager at Swatch Taiwan, Thomas localized, reviewed and maintained Traditional Chinese learning content used in retail training and digital learning. The work included content prepared for Campus 51 and related training materials supporting product knowledge, customer experience and retail communication.

Challenge

Training content often combines brand language, product information, technical terminology and practical retail guidance. The challenge was to make the Traditional Chinese content accurate, accessible and natural for local users without weakening the original learning objectives or brand tone.

Approach

Thomas reviewed content from the perspective of both language quality and practical usability. Terminology, sentence structure and information hierarchy were refined to help retail users understand and apply the material consistently. Particular attention was given to clarity, brand alignment and consistency across learning modules.

Areas of contribution
