Custom services
JCLO ChronoCopy LLC provides customized language, editorial and communication services. Because each assignment is prepared for a specific client, refunds and cancellations are assessed according to the approved scope, work completed and project terms.
Before work begins
A cancellation request received before work begins will be handled according to the written quotation, agreement or platform contract. Any non-recoverable third-party costs already approved by the client may remain payable.
After work has begun
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the client remains responsible for work completed, time committed and approved costs incurred up to the effective cancellation date.
After delivery
Completed and delivered custom services are generally not refundable. If the delivered work does not match the approved project scope, the client should contact JCLO ChronoCopy LLC promptly so that the issue can be reviewed and an appropriate correction considered.
Projects JCLO cannot complete
If JCLO ChronoCopy LLC is unable to complete an accepted assignment, the parties will discuss an appropriate solution based on the unfinished portion of the work, which may include revised delivery arrangements, replacement work or a refund relating to services not provided.
Client delays
Delays in providing source materials, feedback, approvals or other required information may affect the delivery schedule. Extended inactivity may require the project to be rescheduled or re-quoted.
Third-party platforms
Assignments commissioned through Upwork or another third-party platform are subject to that platform’s applicable cancellation, milestone, payment and dispute procedures.
